Hello everyone, we are sending you the first information Newsletter with a view to the 2023 UCI Master MTB World Champs
These bulletins will be published on the event website and will contain information that arises and is complementary to the Race guide that is on the same website.
Below is the common information for all runners and then that of each modality.
Personal information and UCI license:
We ask all riders to review the personal information in this LINK and, if you have not uploaded your UCI ID, do so. We remind you that it is an 11- digit number that begins with 10 and you have time until March 14.

Benefit Hertz:

XCO:
Starting order: It is by registration order and the ONLY ones with priority are the 2023 XCO continental Champions (or 2022 if it has not yet taken place) and the 2022 World Champions. They have until March 7 to send an email to
info@ucimastersworldchamps.com with proof of your results. Other results are NOT accepted.
Arrabiatta Circuit: It is in these weeks being maintained and will be available to transit from approximately March 18 and with its final version in the week prior to the event.
You can only circulate in it during the opening hours of Cerro Bayo, which is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
DHI:
Starting order: It will be in order of registration for the classification and then based on it will be updated for the final.
Kamikaze Circuit: It will be undergoing modifications and will be ready for the week of the event.
Open Shimano Event: On April 15 (Saturday) the date of the Open Shimano Latam will take place at the Kamikaze circuit. It is open to all 2023 UCI Master MTB World Champs participants to be a part. Registration will be from 30 days before through www.openshimano.com
NEWS 02 - 10/04/2023
Hello everyone! We are just a few days away from the start of the UCI Masters World Champs 2023 party in Cerro Bayo.
We bring you important information:
Technical information of the event: This information is found in the Race Guide of each modality. We remind you that it is mandatory reading and you can find it on the event website.
Race courses: ONLY riders with a plate number and during their training schedule will be able to ride on the circuit. Whoever does it outside of these hours may be penalized and cyclists NOT registered are not allowed to circulate in them.
It’s NOT allow to use E bikes for training.
Parking: The parking lot of Cerro Bayo is occupied in a large part of the event, which limits its space. Athletes will have priority and for this purpose at accreditation they will be given a sticker to put on the car to expedite the passage of controls.
Accreditation: It is done at the base of Cerro Bayo, at the boarding of the chairlift in the trade called YETI.
They must be presented with their license and an identity document.
XCO start order: we remind you that only continental and world champions will have priority start. For this purpose we need you to send the proof of such results by mail to this email info@ucimastersworldchamps.com
National champions: We remind you that national champions do not have priority in the starting order, but they must compete with the shirt that identifies them as such.
Assistants: Each runner may have an assistant for the supply stations. The same must be identified with a bracelet that is delivered in the accreditation.
Due to the number of participants and the determination of the UCI, there will be no assistants on the course who can travel with the competitors.
Anti-doping: Anti-doping tests will be carried out through the International Testing Agency, which will then be sent to the Salt Lake City laboratory. The number of tests and to whom they will be carried out will be determined by the person in charge of said institution at the event.

Sports events survey: We thank you all if you can take the time to answer this survey that allows you to defend sporting events of this type in order to count on the support of the state in its development.
Closing party: On Sunday the 23rd there will be a closing party of the event.
Admission to it is free but they must register BEFORE the accreditations of the race. At that time they will be handing out bracelets for those who have confirmed their participation.
Prior to it there will be a closing dinner that will be able to pay your ticket in the accreditation office.
